HANK LOCKLIN dies at 91

He died March 8, 2009. It was at his hme in Brewton, AL. He was monst famous for the song, "Send Me the Pillow You Dream on." He started playing the guitar as a child. In his teeanger years he sarted performing at radio stations. He hurt his leg so he couln't go to war. So he started writing songs and got a band together. He was in the Lousianna Hayride and went to the Big D Jamboree in Dallas. His record company was Four Star Records. He had a number one called "Let Me Be the On." Had other hits called "Send Me the Pillow You Dream On." Also "Please Help Me I'm Fallin' " He attemtped a Tribute to Roy Acuff. That made hiom famous in England and Treland in the 1970's. In 2001, he reorded wirh Vince Gill and Dolly--"Generations in Song". Thrn he released his 65th album piece of work, "By the Grace of God" We send our condolences to the family here @sweetpea-honeybun
