SOAP OPERA PARTIES' RECIPE

sweetpea's cabbage 1 T OLIVE OIL 1 RED CABBAGE 1 ONION 1 T SEA SALT 3 T LIGHT BROWN SUGAR 1 1/2 C RED WINE 2 C APPLE CIDER JUICE OF AN ORANGE 1/4 t MIXED SPICE 2 APPLES 1)Heat the oil in casserole dish. 2)Finely shred the cabbage. 3)Slice the onion into half moon, and add to the dish. 4) Then add the salt. (this stops it from catching fire!) 5) Fry gently until onion is soft. 6)Sprinkle sugar over the cabbage, then add the wine, orange juice, and mixed spice. 7)Peel and core the apples, then chop in small pieces and add them and cider to the pan. 8)Let everything wilt-Stir. 9)Cover and cook -lowest possible heat for around 2 hrs.It can't be overcooked, and is often Yes! better the next day!
