MONDAY'S SOAP PARTIES RECIPE

*POTATO CHIP CALIFLOWER




1 CALIFLOWER(break into pieces)

2 T THYME

1 CUP OLIVE OIL

A SPRINKLE OF WHITE WINE VINEGAR

sea salt



1)Take pieces of califlower and place on a baking sheet. 2)Sprinkle with olive olive oil. 3)Then place on thyme with a little sea salt. 4)Cover with aluminum foil. 5)Bake on HIGH 30 minutes. 6)Broil 10 min. 7)Cut off oven and let cook in hot oven 5 more min. SESAME ROSEMARY PORK FANTASY




2 PORK CHOPS

1C PECANS

2T SEASAME OIL

SPRINKLING OF ROSEMARY



1)You can either bake this in oven or simmer in crock pot.2) Place pork chops in oven 3)Add other ingredients on top. Cook 30 minutes to hour.

EARLY-- MONDAY'S SOAP PARTY RECIPE

ADIRONDACK RED WING BURGERS 4 Servings Ingredients: 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO) 1 carrot, finely chopped 1 rib celery with leafy tops, finely chopped 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey or chicken 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning Salt and pepper 2 tablespoons butter 1/4 cup hot pepper sauce 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles 4 sandwich-size english muffins, toasted 4 deli slices cheddar cheese 1/4 head iceberg lettuce, shredded 1/4 cup pickle relish Directions: In a small skillet, heat 1 tablespoon EVOO, 1 turn of the pan, over medium heat. Add the carrot, celery, onion and garlic and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. Reserve the skillet. Mix the turkey, dill and poultry seasoning into the vegetable mixture; season with salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties. In the reserved skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon EVOO over medium heat. Add the patties and cook, turning once, until firm, about 12 minutes; transfer to a plate. Add the butter to the skillet to melt, then stir in the hot sauce. Add the patties to the sauce, turning to coat. Top each with some of the blue cheese and a cheddar slice. Tent with foil, turn off the heat and let stand until the cheese is melted. Top each muffin bottom with some lettuce, a patty, some relish and a muffin top. THERE'S NO COMPARE--TO THIS PEAR CAKE!! 3-4 PEARS(chopped) 2 EGGS 1 C VEGETABLE OIL 1 C SUGAR 1 t VANILLA 1 TBS WATER 2 TSP BAKING SODA 2 C PLAIN FLOUR 1/4 tsp NUTMEG 2 tsp CINNAMON 1)Beat eggs and the oil together, thn add the sugar. 2)Add the vanilla, water, and soda and beat that ' til the mixture is fluffy. 3) Next add the flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. 4)Fold in the pears. 5)Place in a 13 x 9 cake pan for about 1 hour--350 degrees. Try me! There's no compare! I guarantee! IT'S GOOD!!

SOAP OPERA PARTIES' RECIPE

sweetpea's cabbage 1 T OLIVE OIL 1 RED CABBAGE 1 ONION 1 T SEA SALT 3 T LIGHT BROWN SUGAR 1 1/2 C RED WINE 2 C APPLE CIDER JUICE OF AN ORANGE 1/4 t MIXED SPICE 2 APPLES 1)Heat the oil in casserole dish. 2)Finely shred the cabbage. 3)Slice the onion into half moon, and add to the dish. 4) Then add the salt. (this stops it from catching fire!) 5) Fry gently until onion is soft. 6)Sprinkle sugar over the cabbage, then add the wine, orange juice, and mixed spice. 7)Peel and core the apples, then chop in small pieces and add them and cider to the pan. 8)Let everything wilt-Stir. 9)Cover and cook -lowest possible heat for around 2 hrs.It can't be overcooked, and is often Yes! better the next day! Here's a DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES' man recipe

from JAMES DENTON AND GOOD HOUSEKEEPING CHEESE SOUFFLE` 2 CUPS WATER 1/2 CUPSQUIC-COOKING GRITS 4 TBS. BUTTER 3/4 CUPS SHREDDED HORSERADISH- OR SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE 1/4 tsp. SALT 2 LARGE EGGS 1/3 CUP LOW-FAT ((1%)) MILK 1/4 CUP FRESHLY GRATED PARMENSAN CHEESE PINCH OF PAPRIKA((THAT'S OPITIONAL!!)) PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. GREASE 8"X8" ((2 QT)) GLASS OR CERAMIC PAN OR DISH OR YOU CAN USE 6 6 OZ RAMEKINS. IN A 2-QT SAUCEPAN, HEAT WATER TO BOILING ON MED-HIGH HEAT. THEN, REDUCE HEAT TO LOW. WITH A WIRE WHISK, GRADUALLY STIR IN GRITS. CONTINUE WHISKING TO GET RID OF LUMPS. COVER AND COOK 10-15 MINUTES. UNTIL WATER IS GONE AND THE GRITS ARE CREAMY. THEN TRANSFER TO A LARGE MIXING BOWL. sTIR IN BUTTER, CHEDDAR, AND THE 1/4 TSP SALT UNTIL IT'S COMBINED. IN A SEPARATE SMALL BOWL, WHISK EGGS AND MILK TIL WELL COMBINED. THEN WHISK THIS INTO GRITS. POUR MIXTURE INTO PREPARED PAN OR RAMEKINS. SPRINKLE WIHTTHE CHEESE AND THE PAPRIKA IF U LIKE THAT. BAKE UNCOVERED--45--60 MINUTES. TOP SHOULD GET GOLDEN. http://sweetpea-honeybun.blogspot.com

MONDAY'S SOAP OEPRA PARTIES' RECIPES

*"BAKED" FRIED CHICKEN(the good for you fried chicken HAHA!) 1 CHICKEN 2t EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL 1/2 C LIGHT BUTTERMILK 1 T DIJON MUSTARD 1/8 CAYENNE PEPPER(optional) 1/2 C ALL PURPOSE FLOUR 1 t PAPRIKA 1 t SEA SALT 1/2 T SAGE 1/4 t PEPPER 2 C CORNFLAKES 1)Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 2)Pour olive oil in pan big enough to hold the chicken. 3)Rub olive all over pan (lightly coating it!) 4)Rinse chicken and pat dry. 5)Season chicken with salt n pepper and then coat with the flour. Then dispose flour in garbage. 6)Make wet ingredients in another bowl. The mustard, buttermilk, cayenne, paprika, and sage. 7) Roll in buttermilk next. 8)Crush cornflakes then roll chicken in them. 9)Cook in oven at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes. 10)Turn oven temp down to 375 degrees and bake another 25-30 degrees. Tricky! Check and see if done. You have to adjust this recipe to your stove! It's a really g-u-d dinner!
